"Measure Twice, Order Once"
For the most accurate size for your pet, measure the chest just behind the front legs which should be the widest part of your dog's mid-section with a cloth tape measure. Measure your pet's neck at the base (where a collar would sit). You want the cloth tape to be snug but not tight for both the chest and the neck. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, a piece of string, yarn, or thin rope will work and then measure with a rigid ruler afterwards. A good rule of thumb, is measure with enough room for two fingers widths between your pet's chest and the measuring device for maximum comfort.
Hand wash & lay flat to dry OR
Place the clothes, harness, collar or leash inside a mesh garment bag or tied pillow case. Machine wash on DELICATE in COLD water. Lay flat to dry, do NOT tumble dry.
Once completely dried, clothes can be fluffed in the dryer for a couple of minutes to soften.
EXCHANGES
Exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt. Use the return portal to request an exchange. You will be contacted via email with additional information as to next steps. Exchanges are handled on a case -by-case basis. Wag Trendz wants you to be 100% satisfied with your order.
RETURNS
For items that are eligible, return requests must be made within 30 days of receipt of order though our return portal. Your return must be approved (via e-mail) prior to shipping the merchandise back. Once your return is approved, you will receive an e-mail with a shipping label. Return shipping is the customers responsibility and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Please note: original shipping charges will not be refunded.
All returns must be in the original packaging, unused, with the tags on, and free of any pet hair/dander. Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. We are not responsible for any damage that is caused by your dog to any of the merchandise. We cannot honor returns for any merchandise that has been used or is not in its original new condition. If an item arrives damaged or defective you must contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
Once the item is received by our returns department, give us 3 - 7 business days (not including holidays and weekends) to process your return. We will email you to let you know it has been processed and the amount that has been placed on your account.

How To Put On A Dog Harness?
Start by unbuckling the chest strap so the harness is fully open. Gently place the neck opening over your dog’s head, sliding it past the nose and ears so it rests comfortably around the neck.
Next, position the chest pad with the round rubber logo on your dog’s chest - this is the padded side, designed for safety and comfort.
Finally, bring the chest strap around your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs, and click the buckle closed. A proper fit allows you to comfortably slip two fingers underneath the strap.
How do I adjust my dog harness for the perfect fit?
To achieve a secure and comfortable fit, always adjust the straps evenly on both the left and right sides so the harness doesn't sit crooked.
Once adjusted, use the "two-finger test" - you should be able to comfortably slip exactly two fingers beneath every strap.
PLEASE NOTE: The denim harness, in particular, can be a bit trickier as real denim has a defined shape and thickness - so you’ll need to spend a little extra time the first go-round. Once it’s set, though, you won’t have to readjust unless your dog gains or loses weight.

Does the neck need to be loosened when putting on then tightened once it is on or can it be slipped on and off easily once adjusted to the dog?
Once you’ve sized the harness to your dog, you shouldn’t need to loosen or re-tighten it every time. It will simply slip on and off over their head just like a pullover - unless your pup has an unusually large head, in which case you may need to give it a quick loosen to slide it off comfortably.
PRO TIP: have your dog lift their front legs, as if reaching for a treat, and pull the harness off just like you’d pull a shirt off a child - turning it inside out as you go. This method is quick, gentle, and much easier on you and your dog.
